ABOUT ME
Salams, hello & marhaba
Hi, I’m Heba, a midwife, maternal child health nurse, and childbirth educator. I’ve always felt deeply connected to supporting families as they move through pregnancy, birth, and the early parenting season.
Becoming a mum to Siham and Nadine shaped me in ways I never expected. It gave me a deeper understanding of what mothers truly need not just physically, emotionally, and spiritually, but also in feeling seen, held, and supported from pregnancy through to the fourth trimester. That lived experience continues to guide and inspire the care I offer.
My qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery, La Trobe University
• Four years working as a midwife in a tertiary hospital
• Graduate Diploma in Child, Family and Community Nursing, La Trobe University
• Currently working as a Maternal Child Health Nurse
My professional pathway, alongside my identity as a visibly Muslim, ethnic woman and mother, has shaped how I see care. It allowed me to recognise what is often missing and what women truly need to feel supported in their parenting journey. This is the reason Serene and Sacred was birthed.
Outside of work and motherhood, you’ll usually find me illustrating, cooking something delicious, or reheating the same cup of coffee for the fourth time.
I’d love to support you in navigating pregnancy, birth, and motherhood with serenity, sacred care, and trust in Allah (s.w.t).
